This list was prepared by a participant at one
of our Men's Conferences. We encourage you to
go over these suggestions, pray for the Lord's
guidance… and then try two or three of them.
Tell your wife you love her. (We really recommend
this one!!)
Begin praying with your wife and/or family.
Start with the "Our Father" if you
are not comfortable doing this at first.
Tell your children you love them and pray
for them each day in the morning and in the
evening.
Here is a traditional Catholic prayer for
parents to pray for their children:
"Angel of God, (say child's name, John's,
Mary's, etc.) guardian dear, to whom God's love
commits him/her here, ever this day be at his/her
side, to light, to guard, to rule, and guide.
Amen." Let your children know that you
pray for them and love them.
Have an Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of
Jesus in your home.
Go to Mass with your wife and family this
Sunday. Consider going to Mass on a weekday
next week.
Go to a local Catholic Church and spend ten
minutes before Jesus Christ in the tabernacle.
Read the booklet Life with Joseph.
Obtain a copy of the Bible and begin reading
it - by yourself and with your family.
Purchase the Beginning Apologetics series
(Volume I, Volume II, and the Study Guide) to
learn how to understand and discuss the Bible.
